Equity Exchange
Through intentional dialogue, collaborative learning, and capacity building, we aim to embolden staff members to better serve the students they support and, in turn, advance the university's vision of inclusivity. Together, we aspire to amplify diverse voices, break down barriers, and collectively envision a campus that radiates with heart, collectivism, justice, community, and hope.
Beyond the Pages Book Club
The Beyond the Pages Staff Book Club seeks to create a space where UC San Diego staff can come together with fellow staff to read, discuss and learn from & with each other. Facilitated by the Cross-Cultural Center staff, we seek to uplift Black Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) authors, highlight stories that are often overlooked, and celebrate the tales of love, joy, struggle, survival, perseverance, family, friends, and community care.
Joy in Community
Staff and faculty find Joy in Community through a variety of creative programs that foster a sense of belonging, collaboration, and connection. These opportunities are deeply embedded within the university's culture and help create a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals can thrive both personally and professionally.
