I have been a part of the UCSD CCC family for almost 3 years and I enjoy
every moment. This is my absolute dream job! Some of my most
treasured moments come from being in the CCC.
My educational background and involvement in social justice paved the way to pursue work in cultural centers. I have a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Social Change. My M.A. is in Postsecondary Leadership in Higher Education with a specialization in Student Affairs- I know that’s a long one. Both of my degrees came from San Diego State University. During my five year involvement with Cultural Centers I have proudly been an active member and now an executive board member of the California Council for Cultural Centers in Higher Education (CaCCCHE). This organization has given me the tools to support student activist on campus and the much needed strength to continue the struggle in helping to create a socially just society.
I am a San Diego native, which keeps me close to friends and family. I am a mother of two fuzzy lop ear potty trained spoiled free-range house rabbits. I love attending community events, having picnics at the park, and enjoying all-day long beach laziness. During the winter some of my favorite moments are when I am snuggled up on my couch watching a good movie while my rabbits hang out and jump around. Life is good!
