Hello! I am the Operations and Marketing Manager for the Cross-Cultural Center. Some of my responsibilities here at the Cross include managing and maintaining our website, putting out our weekly e-newsletter, and working closely with the Joy de la Cruz Arts & Activism Intern in coordinating exhibits for our ArtSpace Gallery.
I graduated from UCSD with a B.A. in Urban and Studies and Planning. After graduating I served with the AmeriCorpsVISTA Program in Oakland/San Francisco where I worked with the Cesar E. Chavez After School Service Learning Clubs- clubs based in Title 1 middle schools throughout California that teach students about the life and legacy of Chavez while serving their communities. This past May I received my Master's in Education with a concentration in multicultural counseling through the Community-Based Block Program at SDSU. I've found self-awareness and self growth key in my pursuit towards social change.
I am excited and thankful to have found me way back to the Cross, and definitely looking forward to connecting with the community here.
