The Cross-Cultural Center strives for meaningful dialogues and context across all cultures, particularly those of underrepresented or underprivileged backgrounds. We offer supportive and educational services through art, social and educational programs, workshops, and outreach. We welcome creative venues for enhancing social consciousness and equity. UNDERGRADUATE INTERNSHIPS

Undergraduate Internships give students an opportunity to experience a year of intense transformational leadership and personal and academic growth.

Our Affiliate Program allows us to form close partnerships with student organizations, staff, and faculty. Our Affiliate Program helps to develop a strong community based on reciprocity, respect, coalition building, and social justice.

DIVERSITY TRAININGS AND WORKSHOPS

Our diversity trainings and workshops are provided free of charge to the UCSD campus and San Diego community. Our experienced professional and student staff facilitators work with campus departments, student groups, professional training programs, and San Diego organizations.

DIVERSE PROGRAMMING

Our programming take a holistic approach to student development. Our programs focus learning on different about cultures and peoples through art and personal experiences. We also provide programming that focuses on mental, physical, social, and spiritual well-being.

COMMUNITY SPACE AND RESOURCES

We offer a home away from home on the UCSD campus. Students, staff, faculty and the community are welcome to come chill at "the Cross", use our kitchen, meet with friends, or take a nap. The CCC is always full with students doing homework, attending meetings, socializing, praying, eating and sleeping. In addition to the community space for relaxing, we also offer the following community resources...

• A LENDING LIBRARY with over 2,000 books and videos available for free community use.




• CO-SPONSORSHIP funding is available to student and staff organizations working on issues around social justice and diversity.

• The ARTSPACE supports local artists by showcasing the work of students and San Diego community members, particularly those working around themes of culture and social justice issues.
  • We are always looking for artists to showcase. If you would like your work to be displayed at the Cross-Cultural Center, please download our ArtSpace Artist Submission form.

• CCC ROOM RESERVATIONS and space usage is perhaps the most in-demand service we offer.  We are also one of the few places on campus with free room reservations.
